Card designed for small computers. The launch of the RX 550 was a great opportunity for manufacturers to showcase their low profile designs. The Radeon RX 550 Low Profile from XFX is just such a product. The device should check, among other things. As part of your home entertainment system, you should not have trouble playing media and playing simple games.
XFX Radeon RX 550 Low Profile is a Lexa Pro based graphics card with 512 stream processors, 32 texture units and 16 ROPs. Hardware will be available in versions with 2 GB and 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. The base clock of the core is 1100 MHz, and the frequency in the Boost has been increased to 1203 MHz at the factory. Regardless of the memory version selected, they are clocked at 7 GHz.
As for the low profile model, the cooling system is really very small. It consists of an aluminum radiator and a small fan. As in the other RX 550, so in this product we will not find an additional power connector – all the energy needed for the work is taken from the PCIe slot. It is a pity that although it is a Low Profile product, however, the tracking card takes up two slots.
On the latter, we find three video connectors: one DVI-D, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. The price of the device was not given. It is also expected that the XFX will not be the only company to offer low-profile RX 550 models. So we are waiting for the presentation of products from other manufacturers.
