Windows 10 Creators Update accepts Windows 7/8 / 8.1 keys for activation

Windows 10 for the price of cheaper predecessor. Windows 10 one year after the market launch could be obtained as a free update from Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, and also installed, cleanly, using your key, or saved on your computer. Although Microsoft “officially” closed this offer, there were ways to legally obtain a free ten. It seems that even in the latest update, Creators Update, Windows 10 takes the keys of the previous three releases of this software, without any combination.

This means that people who want to switch to Windows 10 from Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 do not have to buy a new license to activate the 10. Just run a clean installation of Windows 10 with Creators Update and use the previous license key. It is important that today’s activation does not require that the computer was already in the annual “promotion” used to activate Windows 10.

It turns out that this method is still working and it is quite surprising however. Why? Just take into account that currently licenses for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 are much cheaper than the cost of purchasing Windows 10. Using an open doorway, you can not just upgrade an older Windows, but also install Windows 10 on a new computer – for less money. It is worth bearing in mind that Microsoft’s Windows 10 activation method may want to block in the future.
