If you believe in gossiping rumors, Apple has been working on a new, larger iPad model to be called iPad Pro. It is unofficially mentioned that similar equipment is also prepared by Sony and intends to launch it for sale in the first half of next year.
Larger tablet screen resolutions also force manufacturers to increase their size. Until recently, the most popular models were the 8-inch models, and now the standard is becoming a 10-inch version. And next year, the companies are planning to give us devices with even bigger displays.
Pretty recently we learned that Apple is working on an iPad Pro that would have a 12-inch touch screen. The California corporation will not be the only company to offer such a large tablet, as rumors say Sony is gearing up similar equipment.
According to unofficial reports, the serial production of the device will begin in the second quarter of next year, and the tablet itself will not only be as thin as the iPhone 6, but will also have a great technical specification. For now, we have to rely solely on the rumors that the tablet will come with a 12.9-inch touchscreen of an impressive 3840 x 2400 pixel resolution. Its heart will be a powerful Snapdragon processor (not yet known for what version), and additional equipment with a 8 megapixel camera. The whole can fit in a casing thickness of only 8.6 mm.
