Snapdragons 810 on new Windows Phone smartphones

While Samsung has a lot of problems with the latest Snapdragon 810, there is no denying that the new Qualcomma chip is a very powerful processor, as confirmed by LG, which used it in its LG Flex model. In the near future, this system will also be found in new devices running on the Windows Phone platform.

Samsung recently had so much trouble with the Snapdragon 810 processor that he decided not to install it on the Galaxy S6 and replaced his own Exynos chip. The Korean giant could not help coping with the excessive heat that caused the equipment to overheat.

Qualcomm has lost one of its most important customers, but may soon gain another. Microsoft is continuing to work with a well-known mobile processor manufacturer and has just confirmed that it plans to use it in new Windows Phone devices later this year.

Given the technical specifications of the system, we will probably see it in the most expensive models. The Snapdragon 810 is a 64-bit, eight-core (4 Cortex-A57 and 4 Cortex-A53), providing full support for the 4K standard with the Adreno 430 graphics and fast Internet access thanks to the Catalyst LTE Cat9 system.
