Gionee has not been a particularly well-known smartphone manufacturer until recently, but recently its hardware has become increasingly popular. First was the thinnest model in the world, and now the company is preparing another product that will compete with the size of the installed battery.
Typically, in smartphones we encounter battery capacity slightly higher than 2000 mAh and in rare models it is larger. Meanwhile, the Gionee Marathon M3 is a smartphone with a powerful 5000 mAh battery installed, which we would expect on a tablet or even a laptop rather than a smartphone. Interestingly, despite the large battery Marathon M3 is not large at all, its dimensions are 144.5 x 71.45 x 10.4 mm, so it is even 0.2 mm thinner than the Motorola Droid Turbo with a capacity of 3900 mAh.
The Gionee has a 5-inch touchscreen with 720p resolution, 1.3 GHz four-chip MediaTek processor, 1 GB of RAM, dual cameras (8 megapixels and 2 megapixels), dual SIM and 3G connectivity. Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s Amigo 2.0 UI interface overlay.
