Samsung with its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge conquers the world of smartphones. Unfortunately, not everywhere it goes with the same ease. Russian operators and vendors have announced that they will no longer trade the Group’s products.
As reported by Bloomberg, several operators and sales offices operating on the Russian market have decided to suspend sales of Samsung products. The reason was to be too high failure rate and lack of agreement on warranty conditions.
Samsung products are no longer available to PJSC MegaFon and VimpelCom Ltd operators, as well as sales networks Euroset Holding NV and Svyaznoy. VimpelCom representatives say that as many as 7 percent of the smartphones they receive from the Korean giant are damaged.
The decision of the operators and shops is a serious blow to Samsung, as it has already caused a 25% drop in sales of its products, and in the coming months this percentage will probably be even higher. Of course, these are not the only distribution channels, but these companies have more than 11,000 outlets across the country, so the number of places where you can buy smartphones is also decreasing.
