Rugged Android tablet

Panasonic introduces a super durable tablet based on Android 3.2. Toughpad, because it will be called, was prepared for professionals.

The Toughpad, like other Panasonica products from the line starting with the word tough, will be tough to use in tough environments. The device can withstand a drop of up to 120 cm, it can also handle dust and liquids. Frosts and heat are also not frightening as they maintain a temperature range of -10 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Importantly, the new Toughbook with Android on board guarantees high data security. This is responsible for one of the two 1.2 GHz CPU cores that supports data encryption, authenticated startup, and other security processes. The signatures can be displayed on the display, and the pressure, direction and typing technology increases the credibility of the authorization.

The new Toughbook supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and has a built-in GPS module. The tablet will also be available in 3G compatible version. For long working out of the office allows a battery that can operate up to 10 hours.

For work in bright sunlight, should allow a 10.1-inch screen, covered with anti-reflective coating.
