Rude GTX 1070 also for Europe. The KFA2, which is a European brand owned by Galax, has added a new graphics card – the GeForce GTX 1070 Katana. To avoid unnecessary emotion, we immediately explain that this is exactly the same product as the Galax brand but intended for European markets.
The GeForce GTX 1070 Katana uses a single-slot, dual-chamber cooler and densely packed copper heatsink. It is worth emphasizing, however, that the manufacturer himself does not recommend touching the metal housing of the cooling system, as it can reach relatively high temperatures at very high loads.
Under the cooling system we have a non -ferential laminate designed by the Galax team. On it we have a graphics processor running at 1519 MHz, which, thanks to the GPU Boost can increase to 1708 MHz. It is hard not to notice that Galax not only slimmed down its GTX 1070, it has also jumped – reference clocks are respectively 1506 and 1683 MHz. The card also has an 8 GB GDDR5 RAM and an effective 8 GHz clock. GPU RAM connects a 256 bit wide interface. The extra power supply card draws from an 8-pin PEG socket.
There are three video outputs – HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.2 and Dual-Link DVI-D. In Europe, the price of the KFA2 GeForce GTX 1070 Katana is 419 euro (19% VAT).
