IPad is losing the tablet market

This year may not be the best for Apple, and especially for the popular tablet, the iPad. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst working for KGI Securities, in 2015 sales of this product may decline by as much as several dozen percent. And if the Cupertino company does not soon launch a new model, its position in the market sector will suffer.

The iPad is still an unquestioned leader in the tablet market, but it may soon change. The competition offers better equipment with higher resolutions and sells it at a much lower price, slowly undermining Cupertino’s position.

The rivals’ actions are so successful that iPad sales this year may fall as much as 30 percent. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst working for KGI Securities, whose forecasts related to Apple, in the past have been quite successful in the past. True, the Cupertino company has yet another iPad Pro with a 12.9-inch screen that has been talked about for a long time, but analysts say that even if the product goes on sale this year, in the long run, the company’s situation will not change much..

Only in the first quarter of this year, iPad sales will decline as much as 52.7 percent compared to the same quarter a year ago, and in the second quarter Kuo expects another 30-40 percent drop.
