Huawei is preparing to launch its latest low-cost smartphone named Honor Holly on European markets. Available at a slightly above $ 100 price, it will offer two SIM cards and a quad-core processor, and stores will be available on March 6.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s offerings include devices that are affordable and demanding, as well as people who can afford to make calls and use the internet, while the purchase criterion is cheap.
Honor Holly, the latest model of the Chinese Huawei corporation, is targeting the latter audience. It is a low-budget construction that will be available on the European market for € 102. For this relatively small amount, however, we will get quite a decent product with a 5-inch screen resolution of 720p, MediaTek MT6582 processor on four Cortex-A7 cores, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of usable memory, which can be expanded with a microSD card.
This is not as fast as the speed daemon, but the above configuration should be sufficient to handle very demanding applications, including games.
The smartphone also has an 8 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel camera installed in front. We will not receive 4G, however, so internet connectivity will only be limited to 3G and will be a bit slow. But the two SIM cards will make Honor Holly a great business smartphone, while allowing both business and personal numbers. This can also be used to insert Aero cards that provide free internet access.
One minor inconvenience may be a slightly older operating system, as Huawei did not opt for the latest Android, but slightly older version 4.4.2 with its own EMUI 2.3 overlay. The battery does not make a good impression as it is only 2000 mAh, but given the technical specifications, it should suffice for at least one working day.
