Genesis Krypton 500 – an inexpensive mouse for gamers

Genesis has announced the introduction of the Krypton 500, designed for players with lesser wallets. This is a product targeted mainly to shooter fans who are looking for a simple construction device. This product is for right-handed users.

The Genesis Krypton 500 is a new mouse featuring the PixArt PMW 3325 optical sensor with a resolution of 7200 dpi. It is possible to change the sensitivity on the fly with a single button – there are seven different values. The acceleration is 20 G, and the maximum tracking speed is 100 inches / sec. The reporting frequency can be adjusted from 125 Hz to 1000 Hz.

The mouse offers 6 buttons using the Omron switches. The manufacturer ensures that they are very durable and have a lifetime of about 10 million clicks. The surface of the device is made of rubber-like material, which guarantees a firm grip during operation. The dimensions of the product are 130 x 67 x 39 mm and its weight is 98 g.

The equipment provides illuminated elements and the color of light can be selected from a palette of 16 million colors. Additionally, backlight modes such as neon or “breathing” are also prepared. Together with the Krypton 500 we get a mouse-ready software that allows you to edit profiles and save your own macros. The device is attached to the PC with a 2-meter USB cable. The new Genesis mouse will go on sale in April.
