All new Pixel devices will get the Snapdragon 835

The new Pixel series is coming. Further information about unannounced hardware Google has shared the response of GSMArena. According to the search portal giant, this year will launch two smartphones and one tablet, and each device will be equipped with a high-end Qualcomm chip – Snapdragona 835.

The first smartphone is developed under the name of Muskie and is expected to replace last year’s Google Pixel model. The exact technical specifications of the phone are not yet known, but we can assume that it will be just a handy high-end device. There is also a working model called Walleye, which should debut under the name Pixel XL 2. Unfortunately, we do not know at this moment whether Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be anything but the diagonal of the display and possibly the built-in battery capacity.

GSMArena also confirms previous reports that Google would have to present as many as three devices of the Pixel family this year. The last one, Taimen, has either got an even bigger display than the previously mentioned Pixel XL 2 and is something of a spiritual heir to the Motorola Nexus 6, or just be a tablet and replace the Pixel C from 2015.

Pixel’s new equipment is again in line with the Taiwanese HTC. When will the devices be presented? So far the network lacks official information on the subject, but we can assume that their premiere will be held this fall.
